    Research Interests:

      Research interests focus on the natural enemies
      of aquatic flies, particularly, black flies (Simuliidae) and midges (Chironomidae).
      Two areas of current interest are the predation by larvae of
      aquatic dance flies (Empididae) and the ecology of
      parasitic, aquatic mermithids(Nematoda: Mermithidae).
